„MONTOWNIA” IN GDANSK - THE NEW FACE OF THE FORMER ASSEMBLY PLANT IN THE YOUNG CITY AREA
The building of the former assembly plant, where engines for U-Bots were once assembled, has recently undergone a major revitalisation process. The unique architecture of the building, which dates back to the 1930s, has been superbly respected and properly emphasised by leaving the historic structure and minimalist interventions in the building structure. The architects of the building - the Rayss Group and the investor EURO STYL - took care to expose such artefacts as pre-war tracks, cobblestones, three cranes or the original entrance door. In addition, they referred to the historical colour scheme of the building by leaving the original colours of the walls or metal elements - such as the green doors. This now multifunctional building combines hotel, catering and business functions.
